Lair of the Beast was another boardgame assignment from university, in which we were tasked with taking core mechanics from two different tabletop games and blending them into a new one. LotB took from Betrayal at House on the Hill, and incorporated basic Dungeons and Dragons elements to create a roguelike dungeoning boardgame. LotB was developed using Tabletop Simulator on Steam due to the Covid 2021 lockdown.
My involvement in the project included developing and playtesting game mechanics, focusing on ensuring game balance.
